Austin Meyer and his team have released X-Plane for the iPhone! Being a huge fan of flight simulation, this is a double-bonus for me

iPhone Spore released

I’m delighted to see that Spore has been released for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

I’ve just purchased the app and will be writing a full review, but in the meantime, here are some of the key features:

• Pinch, pull and poke your creation in the Creature Editor, customizing the texture, shape and body parts to fit the way you play

Busy day for iPhone users on September 9th

September 9th, looks to be a busy day for iPhone users. It looks like some significant updates are due that day, including possibly iTunes 8 and the iPhone 2.1 firmware update.

Many sites are reporting on the potential of some previously unannounced additional functionality for the phone with the firmware update and also, hopefully a bug fix for the “frozen apps” problem.

Also due is the iPhone version of Spore, which I’m sure is going to keep people hooked.

iPhone 3G Telescope!

I’m fairly convinced this must be a joke, but Coolest Gadgets has posted details about a telescope for your iPhone 3G!

If it is a wind up, it’s a pretty good one

Has anyone seen or used one of these things? Does it really exist? I’d love to find out!
